How to nurture a healthy relationship?

1. Make a dedicated time for those who matter - Spend a part of your day building relationships, even if it's just 20 minutes over five minutes. Let those who are closest to you know that they are important to you.

2. Attack the problem, not the person - Take the opportunity to learn something and practice collaborating to solve problems rather than spreading blame.

3. Be the most positive person you know - People who are positive are grateful; they know how to appreciate others. They focus on what matters to them and they make it important.

4. Never jump to conclusions - Let go of your biases and judgments before you react to any situation. Jumping to incorrect conclusions can damage relationships more than anything else.

5. Underpromise and overdeliver -  Following up on your commitments is the best way to show someone you value them. Give more than what is expected.

6. Communicate Candidly and Honestly - Good communication is the foundation of any great relationship. Don't let silence get between you and what you're saying to each other. It takes effort to develop good.
